Saputo Dairy UK (SDUK) announces today that it will modify the milk price it pays to its Davidstow farmers to 29.2ppl* from 1 February 2020. This has been agreed with Dairy Crest Direct (DCD).

“We have kept our milk price unchanged at 29.9ppl over the last 12 months,” said Chris Thomson, Group Procurement Director at Saputo Dairy UK.

“However, conditions in the UK cheddar market mean that it is now necessary for us to reduce our milk price from 1 February 2020, in order to remain competitive. Our price still remains one of the highest in the UK.”
