Farmers
We work in partnership with our farmers with the objective to make both their and our businesses grow and become more successful.
To do this we focus on three key areas:
- Rewarding our farmers for supplying the optimal milk for the manufacture of cheese and demineralised whey.
- Ensuring our farmers maintain high standards through our unique Davidstow Farm Standards as well as Red Tractor farm assurance scheme.
- Importantly, working in partnership with our farmers, we recognise the value of spending more time on our farms, understanding our farmers’ needs and helping them to understand ours. We do this through our Farm Business Team and the knowledge and experience we bring to the partnership.

Our Davidstow-supplying farmers are required to meet our unique Davidstow Farm Standards which reflect best practice in animal health and welfare as well as encouraging professional engagement with vets, nutritionists and environmental bodies

Davidstow Creamery Direct
Davidstow Creamery Direct (DCD) is the independent representative body for our supplying farmers. DCD elected representatives work together with us on developing our farm standards and other initiatives to support our milk supply to help ensure a sustainable future for everyone.
