Recall of Morrisons Whole British Milk and Supervalu from Budgens Whole British Milk with use by dates of 051114 and 071114
October 29, 2014Dairy Crest Ltd has recalled Morrisons and Supervalu from Budgens Whole British Milk with use by dates 05/11/14 and 07/11/14 on a precautionary basis, because a small proportion of the batches may have become contaminated with cleaning fluid during its production.

Action taken by the company:
Dairy Crest Ltd is recalling the above products. Product recall notices will be displayed in Morrisons and Budgens stores, advising consumers of the recall and what they can do if they have bought the affected products.
Dairy Crest has identified the specific issue that has occurred which caused contamination of the milk with cleaning fluids. All the products which were affected have been identified and our relevant customers informed.
Dairy Crest has undertaken a full risk assessment and spoken to the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to ensure all requirements are being followed.
Dairy Crest is confident that no other Dairy Crest products have been affected in any way.
Advice to consumers:
We advise anyone who has purchased any of the above products not to consume them. Instead, please return to the Morrisons or Budgens store from where you purchased the product for a full refund.
