Dairy Crest today announces that it will increase the milk price it pays to its Davidstow farmers by 0.5ppl* from 1st November 2017 to 31.5ppl, an increase of 30% year on year. This has been agreed with Dairy Crest Direct (DCD).

Chris Thomson, Group Procurement Director at Dairy Crest, said:

“We are delighted to announce a further increase in the milk price – our third in as many months. The price move reflects our commitment to pay a fair and competitive milk price to our dedicated, hard-working farmers. The high standard milk they provide allows us to produce market-leading Cathedral City and quality ingredients for the infant formula market.”

DCD Chairman, Steve Bone, commented:
