Dairy Crest awarded prestigious IGD President's Cup from leading food industry body
October 8, 2014Dairy Crest, the number one British dairy company, has been named winner of the 2014 IGD President’s Cup. The President’s Cup is awarded to the IGD member company that has “played a significant role in helping the IGD to achieve its aims and objectives over the last year”.
Dairy Crest was singled out in recognition of the work it has undertaken in the past year to provide support and training for unemployed people through the ‘Feeding Britain’s Future’ programme. The company was also praised for the leading role it has played in the ‘Working on Waste’ consumer awareness initiative.
